the Bonhoeffer statement further, it occurs to me that unless and until we have a fuller understanding of grace, we will forever be alone and lonely within, especially if we are believers. What he says is so true: aren’t we on our “best” behavior around other believers? Shouldn’t it be the opposite? Can it be the opposite?
