with SU last night. Went to our kitchen away from home, El Toro, and split the Del Mar, a grilled shrimp/chicken/beef fajita meal. Most excellent.
Prior to meeting her, I spent an hour or so playing the Carvin AE-185 through the Princeton. Didn’t really like the combination, I think I like the Blue Angel better. Also, I need to try different strings, still haven’t found the what I’m looking for from this guitar.
First Netflix problem – we got home kinda late and SU was tired, so we decided to save The Outlaw Josey Wales for later. I decided to watch the documentary The Ground Truth as it’s only about an hour long. Bummer, it wouldn’t play. Defective. Reminded me of Redbox. I hope this isn’t a preview of the future with Netflix.
Still haven’t decided which music to listen to this weekend. Woke up and saw that BB King was hospitalized in Galveston last night. Dude’s 82 years old now and still getting after it. Cool.

Relevant passage:
This is the root of my dissappointment with the way Edd seems (IMO) to be going with this and his failure to clarify statements made, or acknowledge that others he made are not completley true.
This is the first place I recall seeing the allegation that there was a false report filed.
If true, then that further supports my theory that the two other agents wer given immunity for making false statements designed to shield thier brother agents.

Yes, sarge, that was my first response – why are Repubs pulling an Al Sharpton? Why not let the appeals process handle this? I have no idea who is telling what truth or lie, I just know that it is really strange to hear conservatives trash the judicial system.

It’s not so much that as the contribution being made to the “conspiracy theory hysteria” that abounds theses days, and in more than abundant amounts within this issue itself.
Edd is taking on the role of Danile James in some respects; alledging cover up and nefarious behind the scenes machinations.
It’s crap, and doesn’t really do much to solve the problem. In fact, I’d offer that the hysteria of the last year actually contriibuted to making the proble worse: we now have a Congress that will guarantee that it will become so.
There’s no cover up here. There’s a couple of convicted Agents who know they did something wrong and thier lawayers are trying to capitalize on the poltics surrounding the situation to get them pardoned. Can’t say that I blame them, but situations like this have no real bearing on the problems or the solutions. They only inflame emotions, and that and only ends up dissapating energies that would be much more productive if channeled in the proper direction.
