Everything worked out

David Jennings · May 10, 2007 · Leave a Comment

really well yesterday, made for another great day. Life at the plantation was good, process ran smooth, trucks were on time, no employee problems. Other than DB of course but that was related to the sale of the guitar, man that guy can talk. I suppose he’s pretty excited but you’d think he was a 10 year old, having to be told every little detail of how the transaction works.

After work I took 1 to the shop to pick up her truck, had to have the a/c repaired. She spent the morning at the doctor, suffering another bronchial infection. But the nuked thyroid no longer is a problem, at least as long as she takes her medicine.

Fun night. RSa accepted a new position with a larger company and had a dinner with his new boss and spouses, so he asked me to fill in during the Wed night service. Had fun, did all fast songs and even made the old folks stand up and dance. Well, in their minds anyway. Clapping and rejoicing are pretty unusual on a Wed night but then again, most churches have done away with their night services altogether.

After church, SU and I snuck off for an extra date at the kitchen away from the trailer. Enjoyed some quality time and good conversation. I just gotta face it, she’s a babe and that’s that.

Back to work, trucks aren’t being so nice today…..
