I just have to say

that the internet is incredible and has created so many new business opportunities and streamlined others that I’m just amazed. Why today? Well, I’ve been using proflowers.com for a couple of years now, mostly for SU, but other things as well. They have a GREAT customer service business model along with AWESOME flowers! I’m telling you, if you lived in the 18th/19th/20th century, this business would be a miracle (before that, it would probably be classified as alien).

Check this out: I decide to send flowers to someone – order entered at 9:39 am yesterday. Order processed and picked up by Fedex at 2:33 pm same day in California. Order goes to Memphis, arriving at 11:27 pm same day. Order picked up in Memphis at 3:39 am and travels to Dallas. Order delivered to suburb of Dallas at 8:09 am.

Is that incredible or what? Science fiction to be sure. Wow. And you thought that it was a miracle to put your garbage on the curb in the morning and have it disappear before you arrived home. Humph. Chimp work there. Late.
