I need to learn

David Jennings · July 9, 2005 · 2 Comments

more about art. All types of art. I think that for most of my 40+ years, I have missed out on an awful lot of good stuff by not learning more about the fine arts. Why now? I don’t know, maybe because I have a little more time on my hands. Or maybe because I saw this picture and it just made me feel so, I dunno, interested? Intrigued? Curious? Somber?

My first thought, before looking closer, was “Auntie Em, Auntie Em, it’s a twister! It’s a twister!”

“The Scream”..one quite a famous piece…I think Mr. Munch (the artist) was depicting a troubled person..can’t recall and KK is out at the moment..the resident artist knows these things! This is hanging in the National Gallery in DC..or it might be a replica..doubt it..
