around the trailer park right now. 1 seems to be doing well in her job and school, kinda nice to have her home now that the adjustment period is over. And she’s learning the value of money; I noticed that she’s been leaving her truck at home (15 mpg) and driving the Regal (22 mpg). Makes a difference. Haven’t heard from 2, she’s probably working a lot.
SU and I had two date nights this week! Skipped church on Wednesday and met her at the remote, then came home and watched an old movie, The Philadelphia Story. It was pretty funny in an old school way. Kate Hepburn had some legs, no? Hilarious seeing Jimmy Stewart that young.
Then last night we repeated the remote rendezvous. Sometimes, it’s just nice to sit and talk to a pretty girl. Stayed too late to watch a movie, just went to bed early. Did play the Epiphone AJ-28 a bit, it sounded really good last night. Not sure why that is but sometimes, you pick up a guitar and it sounds awesome, sometimes it sounds terrible.
Our lesson material is very, very good this week. This guy, Ray Steadman, had some very interesting insights. The material is covering the two enemies that all of us face, the enemy within and the enemy without. It’s good stuff, should be a lively discussion with the guys.
I’m still very much bugged by the Holy Hip Hop Awards being held at Copperfield Church. My goodness, the contrast that I found between the guests that they had earlier in the month and the trash they are allowing in tomorrow night is like two sides of a coin, they will never meet.
