new Dekker book, Showdown, yesterday. I read novels very slow to try and absorb the characters and the message, as I think all novels have a message of some type. Especially Dekker novels. So much better, for me, than watching TV. It allows my mind to wander and escape, back to the days of childhood and freedom. This one is clearly about the choices between good and evil; hopefully, it will bring new insights and inspire me to explore them deeper. That is certainly what his book Thr3e did for me on the concept of the duality of man, while When Heaven Weeps has the most accurate, compelling description of addiction that you will ever find, either fiction or non-fiction.

Not too much happening today. 2 was in, so we all went with Pop to lunch for her 18th b-day (is that hard to believe or what?). SU and 1 decided to go to a movie this evening, 2 is out on a date and I’m home alone.

Working on the material for tomorrow, more about relationships/confilct/inner workings of the church. Hopefully, we’ll get something from it. Gonna sing on stage in big church with RSa and KS, fronting the choir for some reason. RSa is still struggling, I think, and this is an effort to move forward, at least that is all I can figure.

Oh well, back to the lesson, gotta finish so I can log into pclos and listen to some streams. Late.
