day and BIL is still hanging around. The prognosis is still not clear, but the longer he’s around…..you get the picture. No idea on long term implications just yet.
It’s great to have friends and family that care. Lots of people calling about BIL and also making sure that we know someone cares about us. SSh, JM, RSm and the Amen! girl all called today; just gives you a warm feeling. Sure hope BIL is around to hear about it.
Had a nice, long chat with one of the visitors (MG) to our class today. Very pleasant, we sat outside at Beyond Latte and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Had a couple of big cups of Texas Pecan, pretty good cup ‘o joe. MG is searching for a place to work and try out some of the ideas that he has developed through the years. Lord knows we need workers (yes, Lord, I know you know). I don’t know if he and the missez will decide to help us or not, but perhaps. Did I mention he is pretty blunt? Must have some big brass ones. Tells me that when me and JM are playing, we are off on our strumming, not in rythmn. Says it could just be a matter of practicing together. I just said, M, you can criticize me all day long about my guitar playing and it won’t matter a whit. I like doing it and I think the class as a whole likes me and JM’s whacky rythmn; besides, the point is worship and I can worship whether he thinks its fingernails on a chalkboard or not. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and chatting like that. Stimulating and refreshing. Big ones or not. Late.
