Yet another good

David Jennings · February 1, 2006 · Leave a Comment

evening at visitation. RSm was there for the first time and paired up with the pastor. Sucks to be him. Pop and I made 3 visits and someone was home at each one. First was a teen, gave her a Frisbee and banana bread, real quick. Next was a couple that came to our dept Sunday. The guy wasn’t home yet but his wife was. Talked to her a bit and left, guess what, banana bread! Also gave her a copy of Kristens CD. It would have been interesting if the guy had been there, he disagreed with my lesson on Sunday. Just wanted to gauge his reaction and see if he’ll be back. After that, we stopped by the guy’s house I’ve been chasing for awhile and viola, he was home! How about that, persistance pays off. So, anyways, we urged him to try our class. We’ll see.

Not much else happening. Went down and bought a grill for the office yesterday, now I can cook for lunch. Brought in a couple of thick center cut pork chops today, marinating them in some mesquite/lime stuff as we speak. Yum, yum. Late.
