Back away from the keyboard,

David Jennings · February 2, 2007 · Leave a Comment

I yelled to myself after typing “closer than a tick on a hound dog’s back” in a comment about the Minutemen on LST. Holy schmolly, I’m losing it, I thought. So I did the only reasonable thing a person could do in that situation – I shut the computer off and went out on a date.

What a wonderful date night SU and I had last evening. There’s nothing better than being with the girl you love on cold, rainy night, enjoying her beauty and wit. We went to our little kitchen away from the trailer, El Toro, and swooned over each other in the soft light. After that, we returned home and watched The Notebook again, a tale of 2 lovers at the end of life’s journey. Ah, to be the guy that has the courage to display the depth of his love like that.
