Back to work and waking

David Jennings · April 23, 2007 · 1 Comment

up to an alarm clock. Yuk. But I was just so excited to get back into the swing of things, I woke up before the alarm went off. Yippee!

Class turned out to be pretty good yesterday. Small group but very nice discussion. SU is ready for a break from teaching. Just a temporary one, so I need to find a replacement. Or perhaps I’ll take a break too and let someone else do this. Might be time to move on anyway.

BT played the piano during the service yesterday, that was cool. He needs to find a church close to him that needs a pianist.

Went to Katie’s last night for the jam session but couldn’t hang with the smoke. Stayed for about an hour and only listened to the Amigos, no jammers.

Posting this using the newest distro of Ubuntu, 7.04, on a very old pieced together system and it is flying! Wow. Very, very nice. After setting it up, I think most users could use it as is. Total cost? For me, free, old parts. But you could grab a system with these specs for under $50 anywhere if you didn’t want an LCD screen.

Oh well, gotta get back to work. Here is a little music from yesterday.

I agree, B3 needs to find a place near home to play play play!
And you B2 must pray pray pray about giving up the teaching!
