Been an interesting weekend

David Jennings · February 17, 2007 · Leave a Comment

thus far. SU and I ordered a pizza last night and watched Young Frankenstein. That’s a very funny movie in a whole lotta ways. Is it just me or does that girl Dharma (is that TV show still on?) look like Teri Garr in this movie?

Spent the morning alternating between working on the lesson plan for tomorrow, peeking in at LST and preparing for my Valentine’s gig tonight.

We’ll be talking about courage tomorrow and how it takes courage to win and overcome. This is the first time I’ve read and studied the book of Esther in depth and it’s a great book of the Bible. Talk about applicable to society at large today. Bumbling politicians, traitorous snitches, beautiful women, mobs, impalings – awesome stuff!

The banquet went well tonight. I’m never, ever happy with the way I perform but I keep on doing it. Go figure. Used the Tak EF341C tonight with the Epi AJ-28 as a backup. Plugged into the Crate 125. Nice sound from the Tak, it was made for pluggin’ in. Anyways, there was a great turnout tonight and the folks seemed to enjoy themselves very much. Glad I could add something to their evening.

Well, I suppose I should back away from the keyboard now before I start talking about courage and the lack of it in our political leaders today.
