since I wanted to write anything. Comes and goes, I suppose. Well, feel like writin’ today!
Today was pretty cool. Didn’t think our class was all that great but the guys did have some interesting thoughts on hope. Actually, now that I think about it, they had some very good thoughts. Interesting group of fellas.
Got to sing in big church again today with BIL. Pop delivered the message (he’s had a couple of good ones lately, Wednesday night on Psalms 74 was very good). No idea why I get so nervous because I LIKE doing it! Really like it. But I can’t stop shakin’ sometimes (BIL is in the same boat, he had to go and, um, relieve himself just prior to the song. I was kinda wondering if he was going to make it back!). Anyways, we sang Rock of Ages and if I may say so, it was pretty cool. BIL got this groove going yesterday and it just worked for this song. Hard to explain what he did because I didn’t understand it but it was just strumming with hammer ons and walks. Very cool. If BIL only knew how creative he was! Why couldn’t I have a few of those genes?
RS delivered the message tonight whilst I led the singing. I thought that he was really on target tonight and enjoyed his message. Very much.
Found a new rock station tonight on the way home, 103.7. I think maybe JM had mentioned that a few weeks ago, I forget. But there was some good Rush, Van Halen and SRV on tonight for the ride home from church. Nothing like a little Texas Flood to start off the week! Late.

My goodness…what diversity…leave worship and listen to Rush/Van Halen! Interesting!
Regretted I was unable to hear Dad preach and you sing..what a combo! Oh well I am hopeful there will be other opportunities!

I was under the impression that Van Halen’s “Running with the Devil” was church related. Was I in error?
