Bummer! And that

is being nice. Got all ready to leave this morning, helmet on, jacket on, gloves on, saddlebags secured and went to roll the Marauder out of the shed. Ooopsie, it’s a bit hard to roll. What’s up? Maybe it’s just early and I have no strength. Roll again. Nope. Look down and check out back tire. Flat. Sigh.

So I drove the beast to the plantation today. Listened to a little bit of Elijah Mohammed on KPFT, then switched over to music on Sirius. Must admit there are some benefits to riding in a cage.

Been reading a lot on Orthodoxy after stumbling upon Orthodixie’s blog. So strange to me. They call anything that they do/require in their religion a Tradition if it isn’t in the Bible. They say that all of the texts that were of the 1st and 2nd Century that did not become a part of the New Testament “illuminate” the faith and thus can be used. They base their entire theology of Mary upon these letters. Again, it is such a strange concept for me. Being a “cradle” Southern Baptist, that is. Yes, “cradle” is what they use to describe those born into Orthodoxy versus the Converts from other sects of Christianity. Nowhere do I find them converting the unchurched but I’m still reading. Gonna get bored with it soon though.

Gotta find a tire.
