Good class today!

David Jennings · January 22, 2006 · Leave a Comment

It’s always fun to have a good, lively discussion and today’s class was certainly one of those. A couple of memorable lines were “some people just need to be killed” and “Hitler was doing the Roman Catholic Church a favor by killing so many Jews”. Interesting indeed.

Now, I do hope everyone remembers to take things in context and don’t think we’re on Hitler’s side! It was just an interesting comment made by one of our brothers; he has told me before that he sometimes has trouble saying what he means. Now, the other comment, well, that comes from someone that we have come to expect that, so it is important to note that the rest of the line went: “but we just can’t do that”.

Overall a pretty good class, I took the Epiphone AJ300 today. It sounded pretty good but I’m still having a little trouble with the thicker neck and correct finger placement on chord shapes. JM has the bar chords down to Father I Adore You, so we can add that one to the arsenal, I’ll just drop out or play very quietly.

Late.
