Had a blast today

David Jennings · November 24, 2006 · Leave a Comment

riding around with SU on the Marauder. Hit the road shortly after noon with no particular plan. Didn’t get half a block before she says, hey, how about Galveston? Cool with me. So we cruised the 25 miles down 146 and just like that, we’re cruisin’ the seawall. Sometimes I forget just how close Galveston is.

So we cruised around for a while, stopped and walked on the seawall, then headed over to the Strand. Had a sandwich at Grand Emporium, checked out a few shops and then headed back. Stopped in San Leon to visit with BIL. He’s looking pretty good, still can’t use his hands, thus no guitar, but there are other things in life.

SU did great on the back, I don’t even notice her back there much. She’s a pretty good rider, I suppose. Got back just as the sun was going down and the chill was coming out. That was fun.
