with SU at Anderson Fair last night. Jamie Wilson, the female lead singer for the band, is the real deal. What a voice, so smooth, mellow, effortless, ringing – all those things that make a classic folk/pop singer. Wow. Buttery smooth. And Shane Walker is funny and plays pretty good guitar – not great but good. They are very entertaining. Check out their myspace profile here: Sidehill Gougers. Too bad they don’t have the song Georgia profiled – wow, she can sing that one.
Bummer, Anderson Fair will be closed for the rest of the summer for their annual vacation. What is a live music lover to do?
