time at church tonight. JM and I played the guitars and talked a bit, that was way cool. Although I’m still not a “playa”, I do feel more confident and am starting to be able to keep up on some of the songs. Mike’s sermon was alright, I guess. He had lots of jokes tonight, which is a good thing on a Wednesday.
RS got a call from a company about a job here in Houston running a new branch for them. He’s pretty excited and I can’t blame him. It is hard to lose a job, then take one as a temp measure to buffer the income until you are back in the game.
I was in the pool by 4:30 this afternoon. Not bad. And that was after I checked email. I don’t care much for getting up at 5 in the morning just yet, but the tradeoff is not bad. Matter of fact, I might just like it! It will be until August before I really know, as that is when the guy I’m replacing leaves and it’s my ship. Then, the pit, the pole and who knows what else. Although, I must admit, I’m already thinking about improvements in productivity and going out to make sales calls. I think that would be a shock to the system here, a plant manager making sales calls. What a concept. But, I can see that the market is not saturated with either product or information, so what’s a guy to do?

Sounds like a plan to me; grow, grow, grow! Good luck in your new job, Bro Dave.

What kind of product is it, exactly?
