Holy Buckets, Batman!

David Jennings · October 27, 2006 · Leave a Comment

Wow, that was a lot of rain. As I pulled into the neighborhood yesterday, the water was up over the curbs on the main boulevard, the ditches were overflowing, the bayou was raging and my pool was full! We didn’t have much rain at work so I was really surprised. Limbs lying everywhere.

Good thing I didn’t ride the Marauder to work today, the streets in Tx City are still covered with water. Our rain gauge at the plant was overflowing, no idea how much we got here last night. Should be good to go for the weekend if the weather guys are correct, hopefully I’ll get to ride a lot.

Speaking of riding, I purchased SU a nice leather riding jacket, it came in yesterday (complete with lots of zippers). Gonna try to get her on the back of the Marauder tomorrow. And I corrected the Ivory Soap perfume snafu by stopping by the boutique yesterday and picking up a bottle of Red by Giorgio. Haven’t had that one in a while but it is a trusted fragrance, no songs will be in my head about floating babies.
