be a woman. I wonder if that is the title to a song? Surely a song lyric somewhere.
Yesterday, SU had something happen that required the attention of the ER. I freaked out. It’s one thing for me to be sick or injured or something but it’s quite another for SU to be sick. That is just wrong!
Anyways, she gets treated under a new system at one of her hospitals, worked out great (that means it was free). I need to explain that in more detail someday but it might be some sort of insider secret so I won’t. Suffice to say that it is a program for all of the public not just employees. Designed to save money for the hospitals. Sweet.
After being treated and told to wait 24 hours, she says, Honey, do you mind if I go to my small group study? Now that is commitment. Or maybe she needs to be committed.
Still feeling ill this morning, she decides to go ahead and get treated (the paying kind). Again, nothing wrong (except the bill this time). But, whilst treating her for this one, they find something else. That might be something. Maybe. Hopefully not.
So as I’m sitting here worried (I know there are a multitude of verses not to worry – be quiet for now), she is undergoing a biopsy to find out if something is wrong.
Women should not be allowed to be sick. Isn’t that one of the Ten Commandments?

My prayers for your wife. May she receive God’s peace and healing.
I’m assuming that “SU” stands for “Spousal Unit”? At least it fits…
Bigjolly says
Yes, spousal unit it is. Waiting for the results of the biopsy. Not fun, as you well know.
