but at the end of the day, 1 was too sick to stay in school. I knew when she left for school that it was a long shot that she make it but she had to try. Think about all of the times in your life that you look back with regret because you just didn’t give it a shot. She won’t have that regret about this because she did try. And she’ll soon find out that life is a long process and that this is nothing more than a blip on the radar. SU is driving her home today so that she can get well.
Still in computing mode, I picked up a couple of iMacs off of Craigslist for a song. I’ve always wanted to see what a Mac was about but didn’t want to pay the premium prices that they bring. I saw these and thought, hmm, here’s a cheap way to play around with them. I figured that they would be really slow and almost unusable because in the PC world, it’s about specs and this one has an older generation processor running at 400 mhz with only 64 megs of ram. In the PC world, you could run DOS applications on that but not much else. Surprise, surprise! These things are awesome. Booted right up and surfed the internet, played songs and even video (albeit a bit slow). So I looked around the house and found a 512 meg chip that I wasn’t using (old pc100), popped it into one of them and shazaam! Runs even better and the 2nd machine now has 128. Updated both via the net. One of them is Ruby (dark red) and the other is Strawberry (PINK). I mean PINK. The guy had a blue one but I told him I was man enough to surf the net in PINK! Late.

If you get tired of one of those iMacs, I’ll take it off your hands. Shoot, I’ll even offer you a resonable profit. Or , if you see a similar deal let me know as I too have always wanted to play around with one.

Yeah, you just like the idea of surfing in PINK!
