It was a very long

and very good day today. Started off with Charles preparing breakfast, stuffed French toast with bacon and fresh fruits. Wonderful, relaxing way to start the day.

We then went to the Taos Pueblo, pretty neat. Then we drove the Enchanted Circle, going through many small towns along the route. Stopped and had a light lunch in one of them, don’t remember which. Took about 5 hours to do that. Visited a Vietnam Memorial along the way, just right out in the middle of nowhere. It’s a father’s monument to his son that was killed in the war. After the drive, we spent a couple of hours walking around Taos plaza, with SU visiting and chatting with all the storekeepers. Tons and tons of “art”, all varieties, some good, some unexplainable. Had dinner at Orlando’s, trendy Southwest cusine, very good.

Time for the Bigjolly to go to bed. Whew.
