Judges Decide to Create New Law

David Jennings · October 25, 2006 · Leave a Comment

And even said as much in their ruling about gay marriage in New Jersey:

“Although we cannot find that a fundamental right to same-sex marriage exists in this state, the unequal dispensation of rights and benefits to committed same-sex partners can no longer be tolerated under our state Constitution,” Justice Barry T. Albin wrote for the 4-3 majority’s decision.

Let’s see: WE CANNOT FIND IT, SO WE’LL MAKE IT UP!

Unbelievable. Strongest, most legitimate reason in the country to vote for conservatives, if you can find them. Regardless of what you think about homosexuals, judges should not be making law or telling lawmakers what law to make and how to craft it. Citizens should have the right to direct social policy.
