Kind of a long day

David Jennings · January 1, 2006 · Leave a Comment

today. Not that I did much. Started off good, SU and I went with Pop to Langford’s for lunch. Then we stopped by the junk store and browsed around. That place is amazing. I think I’ve only bought a couple of things there through the years but if you want to see where our discarded items end up, this is the place. Corner of Taft and Dennis.

Then we took a cell phone to 1, she was on her way to Highland Lakes and ran over hers. Don’t ask. It just gets stranger by the minute. After that we stopped at El Toro for a bit, then made it home to spend NYE in a quiet place. Not much on NYE parties anymore.

Still thinking about that question, which came first, repentance or forgiveness? All the cliche’s come out and SC correctly identified the true Sinners Prayer, the one from the Bible. I’m going to keep contemplating on that awhile but, if forgiveness came first, what is there to repent for?
