Long day.

David Jennings · October 14, 2005 · 4 Comments

Very. Up at 3, out the door at 4, in Abilene by 11, out by 11:40, home by 7, unloaded by 8. 1 is now home, safe in mama’s arms.

Actually, I think that is a song waiting to be written, something like this:

in mama’s arms, there’s no fear or crying
in mama’s arms, she’ll only rest

That’s all I have for now but it’s a start. Other emotions have entered into the picture as well, not all nice. SU says it is sort of like the grieving process, first shock, sadness, emptiness, unbelief, then anger. Interesting but true.

867 miles, 15 hours, 12 cups of coffee, $158.47 to the Arabs for fuel.

David, check out Glenn Sharp’s blog. His comments this week are really encouraging, and I thought you might like to read it. Hope all is well..Daniel

That is interesting. What does Glenn do for a living? Last time he played at TAB he looked like Elton John, if you know what I mean.

I like the beginning of the “new song.” Cant wait to hear you play the guitar while you sing it..perhaps at the Coffee Oasis?
Still trying to determine what happened in Abilene that would require #1 to leave to heal..praying for all of you…best I can do!

Glenn still is musical director for various productions around the city, currently has Dionysus (sp) going…his blog talks a bit about that, works some with Harvest church in San Antonio, just odd jobs like that, and yes, many think he looks like Elton John.
