Nice way to end

David Jennings · March 6, 2007 · 2 Comments

a very long day. SU stayed with Pop at the hospital last night, met with the doctor this morning and brought him home. Doing fine, not bad an old geezer. Home less than 24 hours after waking up from a 3 hour surgery. Cool.

The plantation was very busy today, be glad when this week is over. And to think I used to work 90 hour weeks. Anything more than 7.5/day is too much now. I’m moving to Europe.

SU’s cousin was in town tonight from PA. We joined a group at a little mafia controlled restaurant for a little get together. Let’s see, we had BIL, SU’s sister and her SU, the guest of honor, MIL and the guest of honor’s mom. We weren’t sure if we were going to make it or not with Pop’s surgery and all, but were able to and it was a lot of fun. Have to think of an acronym for SU’s sister and hubby, they paid the tab! Very deserving of their own acronym after that. Somehow, SUSH doesn’t work. I’ll have to think about it.
