in the Jolly’s world today. Set up a couple of websites, arranged for commitments for a couple more, looked for a deal on a full sized mattress for 2, had pizza and watched a movie.
BTW, Goal was a good flick. Really. Always interesting trying to find a PG movie. Redbox is pretty easy to use, just skim through them until one catches your eye. They don’t have many PG’s but then again, there aren’t that many made. I suppose the purist on illegal aliens wouldn’t care much for the movie but I’m not exactly a purist. Unless it’s one of those days when I’m on my pedestal.
Say it ain’t so – yet another carpetbagger is looking at CD22. Yep, none other than Paul Bettencourt sees an opportunity in my district. Can you say, NO! Go away. I don’t really think he could win anyway, although as this article shows, he’s going to have the support of the machine. Whatever machine is left. Isn’t it funny how we can ridicule people moving into our district because they smell an opportunity, then praise our own if we think we can win? Sucks to be a Repub right about now. Talk about no morals. But in Paul’s case, I think the talk should be about charisma. As in lack of. As I sat there Wednesday at the property tax commission hearing listening to Paul talk about the issue (of which he is very knowledgeable), all I could do is yawn. He’s not eloquent, nor is he captivating. Perhaps with the machine behind him he can win but they had better have a case of NoDoz available. Speaking of which, g’nite!
