Took off work a little early yesterday, then SU and I went to a matinee movie and to dinner. Saw Munich, can’t say I recommend it all that much. It was okay, but one of those you can wait for the DVD to come out and watch it in the comfort of your own home. And not have the pleasure of sitting next to an old woman wearing Blue Light special perfume combined with, oh, I don’t know, lye soap?? And munches popcorn like it was her last meal on earth, spewing kernels out whilst she chews? And whose husband is hard of hearing so they talk loudly when they miss something? Which is a pretty frequent occurance? Yeah, I’d much prefer the comfort of my own living room for this one.
A very funny thing happened at the ticket window though. A middle aged guy walked up and acted kinda funny, looking left/right. Then, he just about whispered to the clerk, “one ticket to Brokeback Mountain” and looked real nervous. Guess he’s not used to being out and about, eh?
Then we made it over to the Donkey for fajitas. Man, do they have the best flour tortillas in the world or what?
Yeah, spending time alone with SU is pretty cool. Late.
