illegal ailien that murdered HPD Officer Rodney Johnson is getting lots of support. I’d have to say that his wife is setting a very good example of a Christian’s behavior in a time of stress:

reprisals against Hispanics for the actions of an undocumented
immigrant who stands accused in the case.

I think that is awesome and I hope that I would react the same if I were directly involved in something that tragic.

I’m not involved directly and thus have the freedom as a Christian, a citizen, a son, a husband and a father to look at the larger picture and observe the spin that is occurring in this case at greater and greater velocity. The above quote is taken from this article, Police officer’s widow urges against reprisals, in today’s Chronicle. Notice in the above quote that the murderer has gone from being an illegal alien (in original reporting of the story) to an undocumented immigrant. Subtle to be sure, but it removes the criminality from this poor, hardworking Mexican citizen.

Look who has decided to help the murderer:

NAACP leaders and representatives of the League of United Latin American Citizens joined Johnson to speak out.

Now, just what do you think they have in mind for the murderer? Hmm, let’s see:

“We stand for justice,” he said. “We will not lift one finger to defend this individual if he is found guilty.”

Now, let me ask you something: IF HE IS FOUND GUILTY?????

• Officer found shot in patrol car
• Person found handcuffed in back of said patrol car
• Gun found in back of said patrol car
• Wrecker driver says person in back of said patrol car used gun found in back of said patrol car to try to kill him too
• Person found in said patrol car is now suspect in killing of Officer
• Suspect confesses to killing officer

IF HE IS FOUND GUILTY?????
