Stopped by Lone Star Guitar

David Jennings · January 25, 2007 · 2 Comments

on the way back to the trailer (ha) today and dropped off the Carvin Custom. I really messed it up trying to change the action, now it’s fretting out around the 7th fret on the high E and 9th on the B. Everything I tried seemed to affect the intonation on another string. Finally, I remembered, there are people out there that get paid to do this. There is a reason for that. 🙁

So I’m talking to Jim at Lone Star and he tells me about the new Beetles album. Haven’t heard about it but he is so enthusiastic that I decide to download it from iTunes. Nope. Not there. Was he dreaming?

Glad the ISO audit is over and done with at the plantation. Looked at my backside in a mirror and it does seem to be a bit smaller. Amazing what those gals can do.

Date night tonight. Good. SU and I sorta skipped it last week, never a good thing. As I tell the guys in my class, if you want to have a successful marriage, take your bride out on a scheduled date night, just you and the girl you married. It’s amazing what that will do for your relationship. And because of the new Netflix experiment, we’re going to be watching The Outlaw Josey Wales after dinner. Hey, it can be romantic! Actually, anything can be if you just pay attention to your spouse. Other than asking what have you done for me lately. Out.
