The Pony Express

David Jennings · September 2, 2006 · Leave a Comment

Sunday School book delivery was back in operation today. I logged another 43 miles on the Marauder as I delivered books to four more members and stopped by Pop’s for coffee, pictures and lunch. Getting more comfortable with each start of the bike and even hopped onto Hwy 146 for a brief stint. Not a chance of riding on 225 just yet, way too many truckers on that road.

One of the more interesting things I’ve noticed is the way that the temperature changes when riding from a heavily developed area through a wooded section. The temperature drop is very noticable and quite welcome in this heat.
