work around the house and get chores done kinda day. Weather was mucho awesome to say the least. Started out the day by taking Zeus for a hike on the three mile loop around and through the trailer park. Don’t know what is up with him but he sure has been whiny lately. Nothing worse than a 110 lb Doberman sitting at the back door wanting some luv. Gets old real quick. SU thinks he wants some real lovin’, as in a mate. I’ll take a blowtorch to his gonads before I risk having any puppies around here! It was a good walk, noticed a couple more houses going up, pretty soon all the lots in the park are going to be gone.

When we returned, I worked on the pool for a bit. Found a decent sized turtle in the skimmer basket, plopped him up on one of the tables and took a few pictures for grins. Zeus wanted to bite down on him pretty bad but I saved the little fellow from being a meal.

After that I managed to get the oil changed in SU’s Sonata. Hey, it wasn’t easy. Dealer only right now since it is an ’07 and the aftermarket guys haven’t come out with their new parts books. Then I took it  over to Panchos Tire Shop on Broadway and had the tires rotated.

So SU takes off shopping whilst I tend to the Beast. Changed the oil in it, takes 14 quarts. Made a heckuva mess in the drive when the old filter slipped out of my hand and tipped over – it holds 2 quarts! Took awhile to clean that up. It has 225k miles now, so I put 13 quarts of 15W-40 in it plus one quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. Just a hunch.

Then I popped the hood on 1’s F150 to add Freon. I only had one can in the garage and it sucked it down pretty quick. I’ll have to put another one in tomorrow.

Saved the best for last. Took SU for a ride on the Marauder! Yeah, baby. I purchased her a helmet this week and she was up for it. We rode about 20 miles in the neighborhoods and by the coast. I think she was comfortable but I need to get her to LIKE it! It was fun, the bike rode great, the weather was perfect and Bigjolly was happy.

Okay, gotta finish my outline for tomorrow, we’re studying Hebrews 10:19-39, going to talk about confidence with your faith.

A whole day gone by and I haven’t visited a single political blog!
