Trying out the new IE7

David Jennings · November 21, 2006 · Leave a Comment

browser and Windows Live Writer beta because Firefox hasn’t been playing nice with my FTP program. So I downloaded the update to Explorer, found Live Writer and bam! If all goes well, this will hit the blog.

IE7 seems to run faster and it hasn’t gotten crossways with my FTP client just yet. And Live Writer seems to be previewing the post as it would look on the web which is an improvement over Perfomancing. Of course, FF has a built in spell checker but I’m pretty sure something is available for IE7.

Okay, time to click the Publish button and see what happens!

Update Well, it worked. But I have a very strange screen on the back-end editor, it’s all html, no WYSIWYG screen. Interesting. I’ll play some more and see what if I can figure out why this is happening.
