service today. Really enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed our class today, for lots of reasons. One of them was not size, in fact, I think we should call our class the “incredible shrinking class”. Because that is what is happening. I think the primary reason is that we are, by design, very intimate in our approach to the class. Weighted far more to the disciple side than the evangelistic side. SU and I just think that our mission is to develop people and let me tell you, the guys had some great comments today. I mean, I didn’t have to do much talking once we started going. It was great.
Also cool was that JM brought his guitar again, that was fun. Add to that the comment by one of the ladies after our last song about how great it was to come and sing like that. On top of that, BIL left me a message this morning saying that he wants and needs to come back and work with us again. Ah, when it’s good, it’s good.
Pastor talked about home this morning. He has used that sermon in the past and it is very direct and to the point. Challenged men to become involved. If we could only get 25% of the men to work, what a difference it would make!

Glad to hear BIL missed the worship/fellowship experience. That is where good discipleship comes in..sounds like you have your class on the right track!

This isn’t anything to do with the subject, but thought since most everyone reads your blog, I would ask here. What time do we need to be at your place for Thanksgiving?
