It isn’t often that I’m really happy after one of our class discussions but I really enjoyed today’s. Didn’t make any blatant stupid statements and the guys were all involved, which always makes for a much better discussion. Our reference text was Hebrews 10:19-39, the topic was confidence as a Christian and the goal was to have men encourage each other as we try to live as Christ. I think we were able to understand the text, discuss various ways to implement it and left with more knowledge than when we arrived. Not too shabby.
In the opening mixed group time, JM brought his mandolin and it really added some spice to a couple of songs. Sweet.
SU is still battling her cough, so we left after class and had an early lunch. After we got home, I took off on the Marauder and cruised around the suburbs for an hour. Cloudy but otherwise a nice day for riding.
Well, I know it’s opening weekend of deer season and all but for you bird hunters out there, a word of caution – the Vice-President will be armed on Election day. Duck and cover!
