of another New Year! Hmm, better wait until midnight to say that I made it through though. You never know.
Yesterday was very dreary, no? Started off at 4 am to bid a final farewell to hero. He looked smashing in his digitized sand camo suit. Not sure what he was packing in that duffle bag but methinks the plane will list to whichever side it is placed on. 1 handled the duty of chauffeur and I went back to bed.
Late morning walk on the three mile loop with SU and Bud. The trailer park was very still and silent, perhaps everyone else decided to stay indoors on this dreary day.
Working on my lesson for tomorrow, we’ll be discussing Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the Jerusalem wall. The material will be used to talk about cooperation. Struggling to make sense of it and how to discuss it.
Went by Pop’s to pick up the sausage that I had purchased on our run earlier in the week through Chappell Hill. Not much new going on there either. I did notice that there is a path to his computer now. Still hasn’t cleaned out that room. Hard to believe it’s been 2 years since she passed away.
Browsing around the various blogs and news services last night there was a lot of talk about Saddam’s execution. I don’t think the world is going to miss him, he was a very, very bad man. But I still wonder about the glee with which his death is discussed.
Well, ready or not, it’s time to head out to church. Cooperation. Not my strong suit. The little flower was from my walk in the morning, the clouds were in the afternoon. Late.

That is a cool picture. I was really taken back when I clicked on it and saw it full screen. How did you draw the angels?

Thanks for the compliment. I too was “taken back” when I first applied the filter in Photoshop to this picture of little flowers and saw the “angels”. They aren’t drawn, they just “appeared”. I thought I was the only one to see them (okay, I know that they aren’t real, just shapes of light). Cool that you did too.
