Well, I certainly brought

the BlueBoy to his knees today! JM gave me a cd with pics of the Valentine breakfast so I thought I’d pop’em in the blue fella and see what happens. Well, 64 megs does have it’s limitations you know. And this is one of them. The files are probably medium sized, about 1.5 megs compressed from his new Nikon D50. Great pics, btw. Anyway, it takes about 3 minutes to open one, then if you move the mouse over an item where a balloon pops up, it stalls for about five seconds. Has to do with virtual memory and such. I’m going to pop the cd in Pinkie when I get home to see the difference ram makes. Good experiment.

Had a great time last night jammin’ with the boys. Ended up with 6 of us in total. I got a feel for how BIL felt when he was struggling to help me. We laughed and played, just had a good time. I think we’ll do it again.

Been conversing with BIL a bit this week. I think he might come to the class again. I miss his presence, not just his playing. He brought a ‘softer’ touch; perhaps I come across as gruff or heavy handed or something. Certainly don’t intend to but I might.

Well, I’m going to go see if I can do surgery on Ruby 2. Hmm, I wonder where I put the 2 cycle gasoline for my chainsaw? Late.
