Well, I guess the day had to end

David Jennings · September 30, 2006 · 2 Comments

at some point, right? What an awesome, incredible day!

The ride with the boys more than met my expectations. The only quibble I might have is with JM (currently without a scoot (haha, KO was there)), who made a comment when I was looking for a bike something along the lines of: “the reason I wanted to switch to a cruiser was the trip with the boys, you know, going 65 on a regular bike just makes you want to run it out”!

Let’s calculate this:

  • Total Miles – 253
  • Total Minutes Start to Finish – 315 (from Mc’s to home)
  • Fuel Stops – 2
  • Avg Fuel Stop – 15 minutes
  • Lunch – 50 minutes
  • Total Road Minutes – 205
  • Avg MPM – 1.2341463414634146341463414634146
  • Avg MPH – 74.048780487804878048780487804878

Whew! I survived! Here’s a pic of the boys, obviously there were a few, um, cancellations. But, the truck driver did show (not pictured here) along with his girlfriend, BabyGirl.

Glad to hear it was fun and safe! What happened to the rest of the riders?

Oh, you know how it is, things come up. We’re headed out again on the 14th, hopefully we’ll get at least 10 bikes there.
