Well, I thought the weekend

David Jennings · October 3, 2005 · 1 Comment

went very well, overall. I really enjoyed Kristen and Lawrence in our Sunday School class. I do think that her ministry probably affects women more than men, but as I’ve been morphing into a woman it really touches me as well.

I’m not sure where the church is headed. To me, it seems there is somewhat of a disconnect between where we say we are going and the areas of emphasis. It is good to see that there is talk of starting committees again and it will be interesting to see how that actually works. I’ll just concentrate on the OD and do my part when asked, it sure doesn’t make sense to plan since the directions change so fast. Not sure what I’m going to do about the weekend of the 16th, there will be no one there to lead the opening. Perhaps RS will be able to get his daughter again.

Does energy ever come back after a storm/heat wave? Late.

perhaps you could stay in the town for the 16th and mingle with the many guests who will be visiting MBC and invite them to OD….then you could open and close as needed! OK>….if #1 is reading this…no need to shout your disapproval…your ASh is just messing with your Daddy!!
