Well, the big day is

not far off. What big day, inquiring minds want to know?

The first ride with the boys at church! Yeehaa, that’s pretty much why I got into this in the first place. JM used to ride with them and talked so much about it, I wanted the same camaradarie (it just occurred to me that I have no idea how to spell that word – hold on – yep, MS Word spell check says thats it). He would come back talking about the good time they had and how great it was to associate with Christian men. If you think about it, there aren’t many opportunities for that OUTSIDE of the church building. In an activity NOT directly related to church. It was as if he was “fresh” again in the spirit. I need that same refresher from time to time! Sometimes, you just gotta be around men and not worry about anything feminine. Wanna burp, burp, wanna…..

So anyways, I’m really looking forward to that. It will be on the 30th, to the Pickett House in Woodville, a rather long ride for me. I’m a bit nervous as to be expected but it looks like a big group is going. Which is kinda intimidating since I’ll be the neophyte and I HATE being the neophyte at anything. But, gotta start if you wanna get in, right?
