an awesome, awesome day! We moved into our new building today and it was an incredible experience. All of the petty griping and moaning about the size, the inclusion, the exclusion and other miscellaneous nonsense was put aside as we came together to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. And worship we did!
The pastor delivered a powerful, insightful and inspiring message about the travails of the past five years and that our work is not over, it has just begun! The overflow crowd received the message loud and clear: come here to work, not just to enjoy the new facilities. There are hurting, longing people in the neighborhoods that need the Lord Jesus Christ! RS sang just about as good as he can, which is pretty darn good! Great service.
Our little corner was great as well. JM and I played and sang together and I think it worked out great. We had 21 women! Yeah, I know, gotta get more men there, but SU is a far better teacher than me and besides, men are just lazy. Haha.
Whew, I’m telling this is going to be a thrill ride over the next few months, ironing this out and growing who knows how big. Late.

Indeed, the service was one awesome worship service! Nothing like that old time religion! Mike’s sermon was straight from his heart and I know God spoke to many of us in attendance…you cannot sit on a pew and serve the Savior! You gotta be about the Master’s business….
It’s great to see a church outgrow its new facilities on day one! WOW!!!
