What a nice

David Jennings · March 3, 2007 · Leave a Comment

day it was today. Work was very slow, so took some time away from the office. SU has been learning the guitar and I had taken the Baby Taylor to Jim to be setup correctly, so I went and picked it up. Great job as usual, Lone Star Guitar rules.

SU went to a slumber party tonight. Ha, she’ll never get old! Her Tuesday night Bible study group decided to do a little bonding, so I was left all alone.

And when the Bigjolly is alone, he gets bored rather easily. So I took off to Anderson Fair to see Mark Germino. Interesting fellow, never saw him before. Sort of a ’60’s throwback. Had an opening act named Cadillac Bob. Hmm. Anyways, Germino was cool. Didn’t spend enough time talking and telling stories, hey, that’s what folk music is about!

I took my Olympus DS-30 with me, undercover of course. Had the mic positioned at my shirt collar, with an extension running under my shirt and out to my jeans pocket, where I had the DS-30 stowed safely away. I love the DS-30, dang that is high quality for what it is. And I love being CIA! Technology rules. Here is my podcast of the event (click on the name for the podcast or click on the play icon to stream):
