time since I posted anything. Lots of stuff to talk about, just no time to write with dial up! Have I mentioned that dial up sucks? Okay, so I will – it sucks. But that really isn’t an excuse, I’m typing this at work. Just been busy here and thoughts all jumbled anyways.
Okay, so where to start. Completed the big garage door opener project, very nice installation if I say so myself! Safety beam, lights, wall switch, everything stapled down. Even had to fit a header board in and did it right. Guess I’m tired of being called a redneck. Of course, the redneck really never, ever leaves – I hung a marker from the ceiling so that SU can pull in easy every time. Not redneck, you say? We’ll, the marker happens to be a blond headed doll hanging from a rope. Much to 2’s chagrin.
What else? Hmm, church was good, I thought the class was excellent. A group of men talking about submitting to authority can get very interesting.
Much going on in the guitar arena. Going through some changes. Sold the Hohner HF-75, the Martin DC-16RGTE (oooh that hurt) and the Tayler 420M. Currently have the Washburn D34S and the Fender Contemporary Telecaster up on Ebay. Okay, now that they are gone, what did I replace them with? Let’s see, a Taylor 810, a Taylor 615, a custom Carvin and a Carvin AE-185. Been playing the electrics more and brother, do I need the practice. Way different. About the only thing the same is the actual notes, everything else is different. I’ll give reports later but I’m not sure I made the right choice replacing the Martin with the Taylor 810. I think perhaps the Martin had a more complex, deeper sound. Need more time to evaluate, perhaps different strings, right now I have Martin SP phos/bronze on it. The 615 is in the shop, having Jim replace the saddle and nut with bone. It is an old Taylor and really beat up but sounds good. The custom Carvin needs work on the neck pickup and the AE-185 doesn’t arrive until tomorrow. Ah, what a sweet life it is!
That’s enough for now, lots more to discuss, especially in politics. How about that Joe Lieberman? All incumbents OUT!!
Joe Liebermann (a very conservative Dem) ousted by a very liberal Dem might would not be my choice for change….anyone supported by Sen Clinton would be the wrong choice in my opinion…we do need change and what a wonderful day it would be if every incumbent was ousted…VOTE LIBERTARIAN? VOTE INDEPENDENT??
