Wow, the poster turned out

David Jennings · July 6, 2006 · 1 Comment

way cool! Had this one blown up to 20 x 30 at Walgreens:

Turned out so cool, can’t wait to mount it and hang it in the music room! Of course, gotta figure out how to mount it first. Thinkin’ that maybe SU will help with that…….

I see that the Shrub went to Dunkin’ Donuts yesterday to tell us again that he and only he is right on amnesty for illegals.

“I look forward to working with Congress on a rational plan as to how to make sure people who have been here, the 11 million or so people who have been here for a while, are treated with respect and dignity,” Bush said.

I wonder if he had a chance, in between bites of donuts, to ponder what would happen if one of those N. Korean missles landed on our shores. Nah, I doubt it, too busy smakin’ his lips.

And I noted that the Repub mayor of New York says that without the illegals, we, as a country, wouldn’t exist.

“Although they broke the law by illegally crossing our borders or overstaying their visas and our businesses broke the law by employing them, our city’s economy would be a shell of itself had they not, and it would collapse if they were deported,” Bloomberg said. “And the same holds true for our nation.”

Wow, I guess I never knew that. I’m so glad that we have illegals so that we can be a free, law-abiding society. I’m so, so glad we have such high moral Republican standard bearers. Let’s see, not only did they break the law by crossing our borders, these “peace loving” illegals also:

Rape women and rape women and rape women, kill cops, run over motorcyclists and kill drivers.

And they account for at around 17 percent of all FEDERAL prisoners as well as having 1 in 4 households on welfare.

Citing an Urban Institute study, director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies Steven Camorata noted in 2004: “Roughly 17 percent of the prison population at the federal level are illegal aliens. That’s a huge number since illegal aliens only account for about 3 percent of the total population.”

“In March 2000, Congress made public Department of Justice statistics showing that, over the previous five years, the INS had released over 35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them. Over 11,000 of those released went on to commit serious crimes, over 1,800 of which were violent ones [including 98 homicides, 142 sexual assaults, and 44 kidnappings].

“In 2001, thanks to a decision by the Supreme Court, the INS was forced to release into our society over 3,000 criminal aliens [who collectively had been convicted of 125 homicides, 387 sex offenses, and 772 assault charges].”

As to the “hard-working” claim, CIS notes: “The proportion of immigrant-headed households using at least one major welfare program is 24.5 percent compared to 16.3 percent for native households.”

Investor’s Business Daily concurs: “Once [illegals] get here, they are 50 percent more likely to be on welfare than citizens.”

But, of course, it is racist for me to point these things out or to mention anything at all about them. So, I won’t. Late.

What is the solution to the illegals being over here? Unfortunately Americans hire them because of the low pay requirements…don’t hire them they go home….
the poster is really nice….perhaps you should sell some! Could be quite a profitable project for you!
