Yeah, Baby!

Whoohoo, rode the Marauder to work for the first time today. And I’m still alive!!! Ain’t that cool!

Can’t say it was all fun, like anything else, you have to get used to it. But I made great time and saved gas money at the same time. And, here is the real benefit, I get to ride it home! Much slower pace and can enjoy the coast. It was a little early this morning with the time changing so I didn’t get to see what looked like a promising sunrise. Lot of color but few clouds so I’m not sure how it turned out. The horizon was really pretty going over the Kemah bridge. Add another 27 miles to the odometer.

Speaking of miles, put another 41 on it after I got home yesterday. I’m hoping to be well prepared for the Pickett House run this weekend which is one of the reasons I decided to ride to work, get a feel for highway conditions. The full face HJC CL SP is really nice, very quiet and fits perfectly. Note to self – no need to use the shaded visor at 6 am!
